Dr. Carolyn Swinton, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, FACHE, NCC, ACC is the Founder and CEO of Reveille Executive Coaching & Consulting Services, LLC.
Carolyn has served in several clinical leadership roles in her over 30 years in nursing, including Chief Nurse Executive, Prisma Health; Affiliate Faculty, University of South Carolina College of Nursing; and Clinical Associate Professor, Clemson University School of Nursing.
She is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, a Fellow of the Riley Institute Diversity Leaders Fellowship Program, an Amy V. Cockcroft Nursing Leadership Fellow, and an ANCC Board-Certified Nurse Executive.
Carolyn is a certified Newfield Network Coach for Personal and Professional Mastery and is an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation. In addition, she is certified in the Leadership Circle 360 and Manager Edition.
For over ten years, she has coached middle and senior-level leaders with an emphasis on supporting development in self-awareness, effective communication, and conflict resolution skills.
She has presented on Leadership Development, Communication Styles, Time Management, Conflict Resolution, and a Team-Based Model of Care at the local, regional, and national levels.
She is the author of the “Nursing with a Passion” blog, “Reflections of Nursing,” and co-editor of “The Untold Stories of Nursing.”
Carolyn is a native of Beaufort, South Carolina and is married with one daughter. She enjoys traveling, reading, and music.
Dianne Matlock, BSN RN is a Senior Consultant and Coach with Reveille Executive Coaching
and Consulting Services. Dianne is a graduate from the University of South Carolina.
She is an Amy V. Cockcroft Fellow from the University of South Carolina, College of
Nursing. She has over 40 years of experience and has served in several nurse leadership
Roles including program manager, nurse manager and health system nursing director.
Dianne has a rich history of supporting individuals, teams, and organizations in the areas of
Behavioral Health, Quality Improvement, Staffing, and Mentor-Coaching.
Prior to her retirement in 2021 she was co-facilitator of nurse
leadership classes for new nurse leaders. Dianne coaches with a particular emphasis
on effective communication, conflict resolution, and critical conversations. She is a
certified Crucial Conversations Instructor.
